Seems that the word “death” is rather inevitable to me. First was the death of the famous actor Heath Ledger. I still can’t really bring myself to the fact that he’s dead just because he “accidentally swallowed more pills than expected”. Then came Suharto’s death. The former president of Indonesia has passed away due to multiple organ failure. Seems that all the good people are going off to heaven.
Then this morning, a colleague of mine was found crying by me, then asking her what happened, she broke down further because her close friend met with a road accident and died on the spot, with the body severed. And her good friend is big in nature. Sad. And thinking about it, life is rather miserable huh. But for the love of god, we gotta continue with life no matter what happens because its all fated for things to happen like this. For the person who passed away, they don’t want to see you cry because they would wish that their friends are happy in no matter what circumstance.
While giving me the heebie-jeebies, death has always been associated with questions on the next life. Like what happens after death. Life? No one knows. That’s why there’s religion. Something for you to believe. Something for you to spur you forward in life. Let death be forgotten. Let it go. Somethings are not meant to be dwelled on. Because one day you will go as well, just that you won’t know how you will go. Think far, not THAT far.
Come to think about death, what happenings do you wish to see before you die? For me, I hope that I would see my grandchildren (if I ever get married) get married. I would also like to have coffee and prata with my friends at thompson (if it still ever exists). Maybe playing monopoly with my siblings. LOL. Or having a game of DOTA (if it still ever exist) with my friends. But I can’t imagine myself wearing beach wear, smacking the volleyball or jumping high to reach for the frisbee!. That gotta be the biggest joke. Especially when a leap off the ground my just dislocate my spine. Haha.
Hopefully my life is going up from CNY. Been rather hopeful about it. Well… at least I’m not thinking about death now. =)
