Don’t worry, I won’t blabber out the whole lyrics of Lee Hom’s music like any other blogger might do when he/she likes the song. The word forever seems very never-ending to me. Like an abundance of water in the ocean. Like clouds that accumulate to no end. It’s almost as good as a fairytale.
Sometimes, to me, love has it’s price. Love is sacrifice. Love is to give in your all. Love is. Love is. Love is many to all. I can give u a million reasons to be in love but definitely, at the end of it, there’s always one reason to be all out of love. That is when you are feeling darn hopeless in life that you don’t even want to be in love. So will you abide to be in love forever? Or is love to you a waiting game? A game that you control with your both hands, throwing down the dice that will depict your next move and ongoing quest to seek a better partner? Well, if you continue to try that, I think you might just realised that half of your life has just passed you.
People have been asking me when am I tying the knot, when am I gonna invite them for my wedding etc. Let me now get it all straight to you. Even if I’m on the verge of a 7 year relationship, it doesn’t mean I have to get married as soon as possible. The reasons why are all darn simple and I believe every Singaporean will definitely understand.
- Number 1 : I’m just 23.
- Number 2 : I’m not a multi-millionaire that owns Hilton.
- Number 3 : I have not even learnt how to earn money and I’m already spending.
- Number 4 : I don’t have a great education background and neither is my financial background.
- Number 5 : I ain’t the government.
So what if I’m loyal and faithful? Eventually if I can’t earn enough money to guarantee my girl a future in my hands, she will eventually leave me not because the both of us agree on it, it’s also due to our parental consent. Not that we need a consent form or something, but I believe every parent would want the best for their children no? For a boy, the parents will be like – since you have no cash, don’t drag others into your disastrous future. For a girl, the parents will be like – you better get a rich or well off husband and married out, for that I can rest my mind. And stop disturbing me and asking for dinner.
Is love really that hard to figure out? If it is, I wouldn’t be in it for 7 years and still counting. You just gotta be fresh and new on your date really. I believe that there are many numbers to the people in the world who possess top-class creativity. Definitely much better than me. I’m just. Normal. Which means my date might snap anytime because of the boring me. But hey, you can’t expect much from a small country/island like this do you. After all, love is unconditional. Especially to her.
Seriously, my word of advice to seeking true love is very simple.
Do what you think is right and don’t think so much. Really. =)
