Chinese Birthday?
Apparently, I do not really bother about my chinese birthday until my mum always mentions to me on the day itself. Like today. She will go “you gotta eat that bowl of mee sua and that red egg for your chinese birthday today”. And this nagging will continue for a few more minutes before she will officially leave me alone with that bowl of noodles.
The thought of my birthday just makes me feel bored. Why? It’s also one of the times where I have to spend money. Sometimes I don’t wish to spend money on my birthday but somehow that is technically impossible. I admit, I like presents, but my past presents have been red packets, which I think it will make me want to save the money instead of spend. I know it would be fantastic to save money, but I wish I can have something that I want or need so much and have it for free. Oh well, it’s like a lifetime desire. My gifts normally comes from my girl only.
But sometimes, I must understand that all my friends ain’t Paris Hiltons or Nicole Richies. And I must accept the fact that I’m happy with what I have. Hopefully my life will turn into something better in the future. Please let there be more cash flow. =)
Pic of the Day : If only my life’s that colourful. =)
