Old Age. Medievally.

Enjoying life now? Running around like there’s no tomorrow? Partying in the club, grooving to the beats of the music? Fun eh. Why not try that when you are 60?

If you put these thoughts to the table, have you ever really feel that thinking about the future is far-fetched? I believe it’s not too late to do that. All these time at home, being nagged by your parents or grandparents, they are all for a reason. Why? It’s for the future. Your future.

You think they won’t nag at you for that?

They are not gonna be there all around the time to nag at you for the habits that you don’t kick. It’s simple. It’s logical. Like for instance, the weather is so freaking hot that you wish to sleep on the marble floor of your home. They scold you. Why? That’s because in the future your bones might be affected. Other examples include eating too much fried/sweet/salty stuff, chewing your food completely before swallowing etc. The damn obvious naggings for smoking and drug intakes are mandatory. OBVIOUSLY.

Unhealthy? Damn you are right.

And for me, I believe one day, I will die with stroke, stomach cancer, and heart disease. Maybe with a touch of diabetes in my family history, it couldn’t come any better to die that way. Suffering. Shucks. Why stomach cancer? That’s because I eat my food so freaking fast that it becomes my habit unless I’m dining at a restaurant. Heart disease perhaps it’s due to the very unhealthy dieting that sometimes I go through.

Help anyone?

So at this age of 23, getting old is still far, but it’s not far for me to listen to what my parents got to say. It’s important. It concerns your future well-being. Don’t listen, and you will regret because there’s no one helping you anymore.
