Hellboy 2 : The Golden Army
OMG.
The plot – In this sequel to “Hellboy” (“Super Sapiens” in Malaysia), an ancient pact existing between humankind and the mythical realm is broken. A ruthless leader treads the world above and the one below defies his bloodline by awakening an unstoppable army of creatures. Joined by members of his team from the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Development, Hellboy must travel between the surface strata and the magical realm to prevent the resurrection of a mythical “golden army” and save humankind once again.
Well, the director’s vision of an imaginary world of mythical creatures and nightmare monsters are just as stunning as a snow fall in Singapore. His characters and graphic-intensive creatures are excellent and jaw dropping. Like Pan’s Labyrinth. But more wicked. Woot.
But because of all the hype of his creatures and stuff, it kinda covers the mediocre script. The story didn’t had much impact on me. But I like the fight scenes and all that CGI. This film explains more emo-ness than more towards violence. Kinda like Spiderman 3 though.
In all, I think the visuals are fantastic. I wouldn’t take the chance to watch it on a weekend though, but I’m a fan of Hellboy for it’s magical world of myth is just too cool to get your eyes off. So who’s game on for part 3?

That’s how long we have been together. Officially 7 years. 7 freaking years. Don’t ask me when I’m getting married because that’s far to think about and talk about.
Started off talking strolls and doing some window shopping. Shopping for windows. Fine. I was joking. At Vivocity we were. Walked around, then had some Marble Cheese cake at Secret Recipe while she had her Chocolate Indulgence. The cheesecake was yummy. Definitely.
After that, I went to Golden Village and manage to get tickets for Hellboy 2 : The Golden Army today. Then walked around some more before leaving for Boat Quay to have our dinner at Pasta Fresca. Made a reservation there. Had our wonderful and sumptuous dinner. After that, walked around City Hall area before taking a bus home. Tired, but happy. 7 years need not be anything special. It’s the company that counts. =)
