Ok, not really a bruised but a blood clot in my left big toe. Had this injury before long time ago while playing basketball in my secondary school days. And it happened the same way – coming to a suddenly halt – just by running after a soccer ball. It got worse. And now my toenails are a little purplish. Eww.
Wayniq mentioned that while watching Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel when a guy got the same problem – on his thumb instead. So what the captain did was to heat up a needle, so hot till they used that needle to burn through the nail. Then when blood was able to flow through, they squeeze the blood out of his nail – with him screaming in pain of course. But the next day, he was ok. Should I do this? Don’t be silly. I might as well cut off my toe.
For all due reasons, I’m going to rest for a while now. Oh how I really need a holiday. I just checked the NATAS travel fair 2008 that is coming up in Singapore Expo this Friday to Sunday, the flight to Adelaide (inclusive of a 2 night city stay, arrival transfer and 1 country experience is only at a price from $378. Damn.
