Ok, not so much of it. Just woke up from clubbing last night at MOS for friend’s birthday. Like usual and like normal, I will always be sitting down there looking after the table. Like a Safety Officer to make sure no trouble going on. Well, that’s because I don’t drink. Maybe I’m the only one sober there. Haha. And not any guy or girl would even bother talking to me. Maybe I have that kind of “look fierce” face. But I’m your friendly neighbourhood Marcus leh. Haha. Just that I don’t drink.

I had a scare after drinking Bailey’s and my body actually turned purple. How scary is that. I think I’m not gonna drink alcohol anymore. Ironically, it just happened last night, downing around 5 shots of Apple Shooters. Interestingly true, the Shooters are at 15% and Bailey’s are at 17%. And after the Shooters, I was alright throughout the whole ordeal. Weird. Oh well, that won’t stop me from avoiding alcohol.

And for the record, I drove 2 auto cars yesterday. A Toyota Camry and a Nissan Latio I think. The Camry was just to go buy ice nearby for our Mother’s Day gathering and for the Latio, it just happen that friends of mine wanna escape any road block after downing a little more than usual alcohol. Luckily for them, I passed my license. Haha. Be it a big or small car now, I’m driving at last. =)

But do you always put yourself into a hangover? Don’t you feel tired in the brains and head at all? Don’t you feel that slight pain and anguish feeling? I personally dislike that. I think you will as well. And sometimes, I don’t get it. Why must one drink alcohol to down one’s sorrow? Isn’t it adding pain to pleasure? Like any other Emo kid that goes cutting themselves with blades, injuring and making cut lines that look so cool to them? To me, I would go “SIAO” to them. LOL.

Hangovers are something maybe not really fun to do. I do not know if hangovers are side effects itself or could cause any side effects, but I do know that it’s seriously uncomfortable and I wouldn’t do anything to myself to attain any discomfort. Hope you reading this will as well. =)

Friends that means. What are friends? Can I ask this simple question that can be as complicated as a question on Love. A lot like love huh. Just that friends prove to be the decisive factor in most outings and decisions in an outing or gathering.

Then again, I felt that friends who keep anything from you are not worthy to be friends. Worse, friends who always indirectly use you and then when you need help, they shun away and leave you in the down. Great friends? Fuck no. Sometimes I do so many things and I realised that I’m rather foolish. Why be such a help when your friends don’t even think about the things that you have done? Why be such a help when your friends feel that whatever you do is on your own accord and don’t even bother or appreciate it?

Friends like these are selfish and do not even qualify as a friend. They might as well stay truly a friend to himself. In the future, if I ever make it big and if he needs my help, I think most probably I will just shun myself aside. Does it matter if he spoke behind my back? I think that whole bunch of them certainly did. From the start I could foresee. Think I’m a dumbfuck? Think again.

I won’t help those people no matter how bad it is. I don’t see what have they done for me. Not being calculative here. Just feel that they are going over my head. Not a good thing. Especially when it’s me. Am I asking for too much? Perhaps not. Because I know what I have done and I have done most to recover. It’s just too bad that I have thought about it and will continue to think about it. Call me revengeful. I don’t care. I only believe in retribution and not revenge. You will see. =).

Yes, the inaugural date is coming. Have you gotten your precious mum anything yet? I believe that the government should make it a holiday. Like a day that we could all commemorate.

Mother’s day is like a birthday to all mothers in the world. I do not know if the world out there do celebrate it but I do know that Singaporeans hold events and activities just to solely commemorate and bring out the festivity of Mother’s Day. Not a bad idea after all. Sometimes we just forget about these minorities in life because of work, education etc. But of course we do not want to forget our fathers huh.

Generally, it’s a norm for me to buy gifts for mum. But I want to do something different. Already tried many gifts and dinners. I guess it’s time we make for her something. Like bake for her a cake? Or maybe try to make some cookies or muffins for her. Sad to say, I do not have a baking oven, if not I would have already done so.

So far, reality has spoken to me that we should, at the moment, give a gift to my mum. Because, from what I see at home, I think she has everything that she needs and still has supply left for the stuff that she’s using. I do personally thought that a baking oven would be a nice choice, but that leaves me with no cash left for myself. Oh well.

Let me guess, have you bought your mum something? Or are your brains still stuck till the point where you braincells are caught in an unexpected blood jam? These are a few suggestions that maybe, you could take a hint of - or perhaps you have thought about it.

- Cook your mum a meal after 365 days of cooking meals for you.
- Buy for her a recipe book so that she could cook MORE MEALS for you. Haha.
- Bring her out for a shopping spree (at your own expense)
- Spend a day with your mum to anywhere she wants to go.
- Arrange a gathering for all your relatives mum and yours.
- Play mahjong with her (if she knows and likes to)
- Buy 4D or Toto for her (at your own expense)
- Don’t buy her jewellery. Your dad can give her that.

So far I have all these cranky ideas. Do you have any? Or if those mentioned above are quite interesting and helpful, please comment. LOL. Gladly appreciate it. =)

Familiar? This quote was those kind of quote that draws that smiley-up-side-down face on you. The quote that gift-wraps you the moment of disappointment. The quote belongs to those scratch and win cards, or maybe those lucky draw coupons where you stand a chance to win this and that and go this place and that place. Whatever.

A bit disappointing whenever you see this. Maybe it might not turn up in those big packets of groceries that you bought from your neighbourhood supermarket. It might just end up on the piece of paper that you applied for education in the stupid university. While upon glancing at the thickness of the envelope, you knew that the stupid quote will end up in that piece of thrash. Immediately you take it and flip it into the bin.

If you think that was over, try the fun fair, where numerous games stood there like target boards, waiting for sarcastic people or people that wishes for a cheap thrill to take a whack at it. Then after trying that very moment of “suay-ness”, the game vendor or game master will definitely shriek out that kind of tone that any might burst a balloon and say the quote. Utter cheesy-ness.

Or maybe your job application failure. Haha. Just like that, after painstakingly doing up your precious resume and all the company can answer you is a “Thank you, Please try again”. Ever breaks your heart huh. Hopefully when I go finding jobs around, they won’t answer me the same shit that every other rejects got. Shucks. Is it really that hard to find something that will fit your schedule. Argh.

Given the amount of freedom and time that I possess, I’m still searching high and low for a “perfect” part-time job that could last me for about a month or two. Perhaps those road show ones might help. Those are something that I would like to work as, given the fact that it’s not long-term.

While flipping through the classified ads in the Newpaper, it came to surprise me with a few jobs that I felt rather interesting and might wish to do. Firstly, it was the ice cream door-to-door sales. I did that before, along with Suban, but eventually worked once and didn’t do it anymore. That’s because the ice cream came in ONE block, like a freaking brick. And that means, I have to sell it for at least a $9 to gain some commission. And with Suban and I working under the same box of ice creams means that our commission is splitted into half. That sucks huh. In total, I think we earned about less than $10 for commission. Never looked back since.

Secondly was the “Sales Promoter Wanted, W/O Experience, NS or ORD Personnel Welcome” ads. These ads, not telling you how much you earn, what’s your working hours like and also the nature of your job scope, are mostly either MLM companies or so. I used to SMS to one of the companies and ask for their job scope, and they replied me with a “Please come down for an interview at this address…” And that address happen to be so familiar that my cousin did talk about once. Turns out to be another MLM company. I totally rejected the idea or even stepping out of my house to go for that interview.

Lastly, I saw 2 jobs that required helpers at their stalls. One was an ice cream parlour at Redhill, and the other at MDIS selling drinks. Can you imagine when Gabriel is studying there, and he needs a drink, and drops the drink at once when he saw me asking him to pay up? Can you imagine the look on his face. Haha!. Oh my. I can’t imagine myself to be a drink stall seller at all. But seriously, selling drinks can really earn some cash. Because - a human can live without food but not water.

The ice cream parlour is something that makes me look like a low class Ben & Jerry’s seller. And I dun wanna look like a scoop after having many past problems with scooping out ice cream. Haha. Kinda forget about wanting to scoop ice cream. Rather others scoop for me.

Yes, job hunting could be a tough job itself. Only if I get paid for job hunting.

Yes, I’m back, because my computer is up and running again. Seriously had no idea what happened to my computer, but relish the chances of it working again, after all, it has been my loyal servant since almost 6 years ago. Yes, it’s a DIY. Haha.

I wouldn’t say my computer is a complete computer but it’s enough for an average user like me, who - play games, work, print documents and photos, scan, photoshop etc. Enough for me to run it without any worries. I have countlessly upgrade the system here and there - except for the motherboard and processor. What do I have on my desk you must be thinking. Well - Apparently I’m running on several stuff here. As in not programs but hardware-wise, I do have many stuff. Average, but reasonable.

Yes, I can’t believe to the extent that I have SO MANY things on my desk, be it below of above my head. But it’s just an average configuration that last me over the years, slowly being upgraded. Happily still blogging away here, I still have no intention to change my computer unless it really really died on me. Like literally died. You know, as in no heart beats and so. Just kidding, technology don’t have hearts.

The fact that I stopped blogging for a while was also because that my head is feeling rather heavy. Maybe it’s the constant staring at the wrong words I typed on the computer that makes my eyes feel tired and my brain feeling all groggy. Nonetheless, a good rest is needed. Necessarily.

Well, I have nothing to blog about other than being a technology geek. Not really a geek though, just an amateur user. =)

Back. Not that my computer is back and working fine. I’m still handicapped, and using my brother’s com, I can’t wish for a better time than now to actually stop sleeping late for so many nights. I’m feeling the lethargy. Maybe because soccer and Sentosa took some toll on my body, but overall I’m still strong. Still doing fine I guess. Haha!.

So far in life, many things have been going on and of course, for future planning, Langkawi or Tioman might be a holiday destination for a good break in between another look-like-it’s-getting-fast-as-time-travels-by 2008. Went to a travel agency in Bukit Panjang Plaza and did a little enquiring, but the counterstaff insist on helping me calculate the whole package deal, and yes, I got the details.

I realise that holiday trips are suddenly quite addictive. Like many people are in a sudden craving to get the hell out of here. Maybe it’s the stressful lifestyle here. Or it could be the mounting monthly expenditure that one has to face in this urbanised society. Painstakingly true, my dad is also planning to go to Cameron Highlands, just to get the shit out of this place for awhile. Beks, Louis, Bert. Are you reading this? (Hint Hint.). LOL.

The other and only reason is about the shitty weather that we are facing here. I guess it will be DARN GOOD to get to the top of Cameron Highlands to breathe out some smoke from our stinking mouths. Haha.

In my point of view, holidays are something that we must enjoy yet relax at the same time. We all know the fears of on flight tragedies, terrorist attacks, overseas kidnapping etc. But then again, if you think so much to the point that you will die just by going overseas, then it’s best that we make our holiday at Sentosa. Ain’t that already OVER-THE SEA? Malaysia is very near as well. It ain’t overseas. It’s overSTRAITS. LOL. Back to thinking too much. If one thinks too much about safety, then forget about going overseas with him.

Safety, like everyone would know, is something that we couldn’t compromise. Yes, we must ensure safety at all times. But thinking about safety and ensuring safety together is as equals to misery and worries. We do not need to always think about safety. Or how are you gonna enjoy yourself? One is old enough to know the limits of life and safety.

If you ever need to travel, take some time to sit down and think about it as going overseas is a lot of money as well. And holidays do not need to be rushed. As in, you can always go overseas in the future, as long as we save up enough money, need not always be now. =)

LOL. Seriously, seriously. This movie made me laugh my socks off. Never had a good laughter from crude jokes and actions from this 2 sinful yet idiotic people in the movie industry.

The haha plot - During the same morning that Harold and Kumar eat at White Castle, Harold learns that Maria, the girl he lusts after, has set off for Amsterdam. The pair decide to pursue her so that Harold can proclaim his love. However, an overzealous airline passenger mistakes Kumar for a terrorist, and the plane is diverted as the duo get stuck in a case of mistaken identity.

Totally, don’t expect much on the CG. Because, in a crude and sexual humour movie, don’t expect so much but just humour. John Cho and Kal Penn are just pure fun maniacs to have fun with. And it’s not like the first time they are into shit like this and that. Haha. Their senseless script and story has made the movie a rather humourous one.

Be prepared for more vags than boobs this time really. It’s just damn funny. I can’t believe they actually had a double for the US President. Haha. Well, in all, I couldn’t describe much about everything, but the storyline is like… a story, with the addition of humour that is gross, sick, sexual, crude, idiotic, lame and you know how the length of silly descriptions can go. I love the movie though. Enough to keep me awake for a few hours at least. Haha.

Ratings - 4 out of 5 stars (FOR THE HUMOUR!. LOL.)

Haha. At long last, after much awaiting, I manage to feast at this restaurant. I was at the new outlet at Suntec. Went there for dinner with Suban, Colin and GL (Please don’t bother asking the full initials of this person. If you are persistent, then go to the net and search it yourself. LOL.)

We ordered quite a number of dishes actually, and for most people who frequently dine at Japanese restaurants, most will know that Shin Kushiya is more popular with their so called “kebab”. The Kebab is at most a price of a plate of sushi, and its definitely tasty.

The main course alone was also fantastic. I ordered my favourite Katsu Curry Don. I felt that the curry for this dish is extremely different as there’s a combination of Chicken Pongtay and Japanese Curry. Totally a different experience. The serving was different as well, as they serve the curry seperately in another bowl. Their chawanmushi was normal, so no point I ordered it although the egg was quite smooth. The Sashimi is a must try. We ordered the Salmon belly and Swordfish. The swordfish impressed me actually. I couldn’t really find nice ones ever since the Haru Dining one.

Overall, the ambience is nice, the service is great. Warm and friendly staff and supervisor. I got free vouchers for alcohol there as well. LOL. Price is definitely not the question as gastronomy comes first most of the time. Hahaha. =)
